The Society for the International Community in Jordan (SICJ) is the not-for-profit governing body behind the International Community School. Since 1983, the SICJ has played a vital role in guiding ICS’s growth and ensuring it remains one of Jordan’s leading not-for-profit international schools.
Made up of dedicated parents and staff, the SICJ works closely with school leadership to uphold high academic standards, promote student well-being, and strengthen the sense of community that defines ICS. All members of the SICJ elect the Parent Board of Governors who bring expertise, insight, and a shared commitment to helping the school thrive.
The SICJ is a community of people who care deeply about ICS’s present and future, whose work is driven by a shared commitment to educational excellence, student wellbeing, and the long-term success of our school. We invite all ICS families and staff to get involved, stay connected, and play a part in shaping the future of our school.
The role of the Board is fundamental to the strategic development of our school, and the pursuit of our Guiding Statements.
